To mark International Malbec Day on April 17, the Vigouroux family, owners of Château de Haute-Serre and Château de Mercuès, is launching a major initiative: Malbec Cocorico.
This initiative aims to strengthen Malbec’s regional roots in its homeland, Cahors, France.
Schedule of events from April 17 to 24:
- Wine Tasting Workshop: Enjoy a unique sensory experience at Château de Haute-Serre and learn how to taste wine during an exclusive tasting workshop on Saturday, April 18, at 2:30 p.m. A one-of-a-kind experience in the Art of Living Malbec that you won’t want to miss!
- On the agenda: a guided tour of the estate, an introduction to aromas and flavors, and a tasting of 5 of the estate’s signature vintages.
- Special Malbec Cocktail: La Table de Vigneronne de Haute-Serre presents a bold creation featuring the estate’s Malbec.
- A cocktail in harmony with seasonal flavors, where the Malbec unveils its fruity notes through subtle and perfectly balanced pairings.
